Oriental medicines in general or herbal medicines in particular usually have few side effects, so consumers tend to switch from modern medicines to these medicines. As a result, the number of herbal and traditional medicine production facilities is continuously increasing. However, the authorities said that after examination, 10% of traditional medicines on the market did not meet their registered quality standard. Meanwhile, 90% of medicinal materials in Vietnam were smuggled. The National Institute of Drug Quality Control discovered that some imported medicinal materials such as Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bunge., Ginseng have been extracted all active substances before exporting to Vietnam. Therefore, no longer do they have pharmacological effects when they are processed.

In order to ensure that our products meet QA standards and protect consumers’ health, Thien Duoc Co., Ltd has conducted to develop a 15-hectare Crinum latifolium L. plantation by method of agamic propagation in Long Thanh, Dong Nai to ensure the correct plants name, right type and right active substances for extraction. This is the first Crinum latifolium L. plantation in Vietnam to meet GACP-WHO criterion. Besides, Thien Duoc has invested to build medicine production factory under GMP-WHO criterion in Binh Duong.
Thanks to scientific methods, giving prominence to quality, our products always achieve high treatment efficacy with the trust from the majority of consumers. Last July, Vietnam Enterprise Institute in collaboration with some organizations such as Trade Promotion Agency (the Ministry of Commerce), AQA-SEA (USA), Southeast Asia Quality Assessors, NQA (UK), Global Manager Group (USA) conducted a survey and certified Thien Duoc company as “Trusted Quality Supplier 2012”.
