I have uterine fibroid 20 x 14mm in size. I want to use Crila®. I want to ask if I can be pregnant during the period of treatment with this medicine?.

You have uterine fibroid, so you can take Crila® or Crila® Forte for treatment. You take one treatment course of about 9 weeks, then go for a re-examination to see how your tumor has changed in size. In the treatment course, if you discover that you are pregnant, you should stop treatment with this medicine because it has not been studied on pregnant women and nursing mothers.

Dear Doctor-Pharmacist Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram, I’m Thao, 46 years old, and I’m single. I underwent a surgery for ablation of large uterine fibroid 13 years ago. Early last November, I got a dull abdominal pain and tympanism. Blood test result: Helicobacter pylori-positive. Ultrasound result: two fibroids in the uterus, the largest one is 27x29mm. I have a 10mmx10mm uterine fibroid. My doctor told me that the tumor will shrink when I reach menopause. Six months later, I went for an examination which showed that the tumor doubled in size.
