Uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, breast tumors are common diseases in women of all ages and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is common in men. Women have to cope with the anxiety about surgery when the tumors grow with menstrual disturbances and seriously abdominal pain during menstruating. For women, menstrual irregularity reduces health and working ability. For men, repeated trips to restroom at night cause their family many troubles and makes their health decline due to lack of sleep. To help people to avoid surgery and men to avoid urinating several times at night, which reduces their life quality, Dr. Tram has been pursuing the research on Crinum latifolium L. for 17 years in order to study and select Crinum latifolium L. plant with bioactive substances that can inhibit and prevent the growth of tumor cells. Through a scientific basis of DNA genetics and chromosome, seedlings were selected and grown in stable plantation using clean standard water and cow dung. Materials used to produce CRILA, CRILIN are alkaloids and flavonoids extracted from Crinum latifolium L. with a technology process that has been completed according to the national project. The Council of Science, the Ministry of Sciences and Technology highly evaluated this process. CRILA was clinically tested in National Hospital of Traditional Medicine, Ho Chi Minh National Hospital of Traditional Medicine, National Maternity Hospital, Tu Du Hospital, and Vietnam National Institute of Gerontology. The results of these clinical trials showed that the treatment effect of CRILA for BPH is 89.18 % and for uterine fibroids is 79.5 %. Based on the evaluation of the Council of Science and Technology, the Drug Administration - the Ministry of Health approved CRILA for nationwide circulation and in pharmacies throughout our country with registration number VNB-3391-05. In recent years, many patients have confidence in CRILA for its high efficiency and reasonable price.
