The climax of Vietnamese brand

Mr. Mai Huu Tin, Chairman of the 4th Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs (2011-2014) affirmed it’s the prestige and quality of Vietnam Gold Star Award that encourages and motivates businesses to participate in this Award.

According to Mr. Tin, under the regulation this year, to win the award, enterprises have to meet not only the strict criteria of business development, competitiveness with products in the same category on the international market, but also the criteria related to environmental protection and remuneration for employees. This is an advance step to ensure more prestige of the award as well as the capacity of winners.

Crila passed rigorous poll

The Award was launched from June until the end of August. Defeating hundreds of records in the screening, on August 12, the company’s headquarter welcomed the appraisal group. Undergoing the strict appraisal round, Thien Duoc confidently entered the final examination. On September 2, Thien Duoc was honored to receive the Gold Star Award.

According to matriculation records, Thien Duoc Co., Ltd was established in 2007, specialized in researching, developing Crinum latifolium L. plantation, producing Crila and some other products from this precious plant. Crila has been highly evaluated and appraised by the Council of Sciences and Technology - the Ministry of Health and regarded as one of the major achievements of domestic medicine. Currently, materials used for Crila production is a “new variety” of Vietnamese Crinum latifolium L., named “Crinum latifolium L.var crilae Tram & Khanh, var. n”, belonging to Crinum genus. 20-ha-Crinum latifolium L. plantation in Long Thanh - Dong Nai is cultivated under GACP-WHO criterion. The Drug Administration - the Ministry of Health verified that it meets “Good Agriculture and Collection Practices” as recommended by the World Health Organization (GACP-WHO). This is the first medicinal plantation in Vietnam to require GACP–WHO.

Crila capsule has been clinically tested in accordance with Regulation 371 of the Health Ministry and allowed for nationwide circulation by the Drug Administration - the Ministry of Health. At present, Crila is manufactured at the company's factory that meets GMP (Good Manufacture Practices), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), GSP (Good Storage Practices) criteria in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Zone, Binh Duong Province with registration number VD-15304-11. Pharmacist - Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram - Director of Thien Duoc Co., Ltd. said, ‘Our product - Crila is standardized with a closed production process. Apart from GMP factory, Thien Duoc also builds the plantation to standardize the medicinal materials from the input. This plantation requires GACP-WHO criterion to ensure the quality as well as the highest and stable concentration of bioactive substances in medicinal materials for medicine production.’

Crinum latifolium L. is planted, cared, and watered with water meeting the national technical criteria of drinking water according to provision QCVN 01: 2009/BYT issued by the Ministry of Health. The plantation uses natural cow manure that is processed to meet the standards of fertilizer for medicinal plants. In addition, we usually catch caterpillars by hands or using pheromone.

Crinum latifolium L. materials are collected when bioactive alkaloids in its leaves is at highest content, then leaves are washed with water. To ensure that bioactive substances do not decompose in high temperature, we have constructed a drying process with appropriate heat. These criteria contribute to a clean and green environment absolutely without releasing toxic waste into the environment.
