On October 10th, 2011, at the factory of Thien Duoc Co., Ltd. (located at Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Zone, Binh Duong province), there was a negotiation between Thien Duoc Co., Ltd and Crila Health Ltd (USA) about bringing some products of Thien Duoc to the US market, especially Crila capsule extracted from Crinum latifolium L. leaves with bioactivities inhibiting the growth of tumor cells. It is known that prior to officially accepting the promotion for Crila in the United States, Crila Health Ltd sent American experts to Vietnam to research and learn about this product, from laboratories to plantations where Crinum latifolium L. are cultivated.

Crila was created based on the results of four ministerial-level scientific research projects and two state-level and ministerial-level pilot production projects well-researched by Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram and her collaborators. This product has been allowed for nationwide circulation since 2005 with registration number VNB-3391-05, produced by CRINA Pharmaceutical Research and Development Center. Currently, it has been transferred to Thien Duoc Co., Ltd. to produce and circulate under registration number V1167-H12-10 with indications for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and uterine fibroids.
