Crila is estrogen-free

A new push for Vietnamese herbs to have far-reaching step

The components from dried extracts of Crinum latifolium L. and Crila are estrogen-free. This test result has been announced by scientists at the University of Illinois (USA). This information showed Crila from Crinum latifolium L. produced by Thien Duoc Co., Ltd has no risk factors (estrogen), affecting tumor development.

The preeminence of Crila has been proved by Vietnamese scientists (National Hospital of Maternity, National Institute of Gerontology) to have high safety without side effects. Besides, Crila meets the provided specification of the USA in criteria of pesticide residues, genetically modified organisms, heavy metals exposure, and allergens through test result of Eurofins lab (USA), which once again confirms the safety and non-side effects of this product.

Test in the U.S.: Crila is estrogen-free

University of Illinois recently analyzed Crila product of Thien Duoc Co., Ltd and components of this product. The samples are provided by Crila Health Company (Crila distributor in the U.S.). Specifically, according to Dr. Richard B.van Breemen (University of Illinois), estrogen test for Crila was done with ultrafiltration-LCMS assay for estrogen receptor ligands, as well as the incubation of negative and positive control. In summary, the test results showed that Crila doesn’t show the presence of any known estrogen and safe for patients.

According to obstetricians and gynecologists, major factor affecting the development of uterine fibroids is estrogen expression - the main female hormone secreted by the ovaries stimulating tumor growth. Normally, fibroma tends to enlarge slowly, and especially fast during pregnancy and then be smaller as entering menopause (because estrogen in the body secreted increasingly during pregnancy and decreasingly as entering menopause).

Test results in the U.S. have proved that Crila does not contain estrogen, so that Crila does not cause intensity of estrogen, not making tumors grow.

Crila has treatment efficacy on uterine fibroids and BPH
The result of subject ‘Evaluation of Crila’s effect and acceptability on uterine fibroids’ mastered by Prof. Dr. Vuong Tien Hoa at the National Hospital of Maternity showed that Crila has high efficacy for the treatment of uterine fibroids (especially for uterine fibroids size from 6 cm or less) at 79.5%. The medicine has high safety, and no side effects. With excellent test results, the Council of Science agreed to request the Ministry of Health to indicate Crila capsule for uterine fibroid treatment.
Crila is not only widely used in our country for the treatment of uterine fibroids and BPH but also requires almost criteria for export to international market, outreaching to U.S. market - a very demanding market with any products, particularly pharmaceutical products

So far, Crila is the first herbal medicine in the world for uterine fibroids in women. Currently, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram is researching Vietnamese Crinum latifolium L. var. crilae Tram & Khanh on the ability to support cancer treatment, stimulate immune system, enhance the body's resistance, inhibit cell division, stimulate the reproduction and activate T-lymphocytes. These effects contribute to inhibiting the growth of cancer cells against the production of cancer cells and metastasis after surgery.

The subject ‘Evaluation of treatment efficacy on BPH of Crila from Crinum latifolium L.’, mastered by Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Tho at the Institute of Gerontology, Bach Mai Hospital showed that after 2 months of Crila therapy, experimental patient group gets quite good efficacy at 89.18%. The Council of Science evaluated the results of this study to be excellent.

Breast cancer patients can also use Crila

For cancer patients, especially patients with breast cancer should avoid estrogen-containing products. Scientists found that estrogen promotes breast cancer in experimental rats while it stimulates cell growth in cultured breast cancer cells.

The effects of the estrogen on breast tissue are partially mediated by growth factors. Several growth factors have been identified as the cause to change normal breast tissue into malignant and prolong carcinogenesis. Patients having both breast cancer and uterine fibroids can use Crila because it’s estrogen-free.

Another test from a reputable university of America confirmed the high safety of Crila, which is not only the pride of Thien Duoc Company in its product – the first herbal medicine in the world for uterine fibroids in women - but also the pride of Vietnamese scientists, typically Pharmacist - Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram on the journey of searching and promoting the potential of medicinal plants.
